The Accounts & Office Administrator is responsible for the accurate, timely administration of Agile Designer Homes' finances — managing debtors and creditors, processing invoices and progress claims, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining compliance across the company's financial records in Xero.
This is primarily a bookkeeping and financial administration role, central to Agile Designer Homes' commitment to transparency and to keeping every project's numbers accurate and every supplier and client payment on track.
Alongside financial administration, the role provides light remote administrative support — maintaining digital records and supplies, and acting as a skilled point of contact for calls and enquiries.Key responsibilitiesProcess supplier and subcontractor invoices; manage the accounts payable run and payment schedulingReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptlyManage debtor follow-up — track outstanding client payments and elevate overdue accountsIssue client invoices and progress claims in Xero as instructed by the Project ManagerProcess payroll for the small internal team — wages, leave accrual/entitlements, and superannuation — via Xero each pay cycleReconcile bank statements and accounts in Xero on a regular basisCompile and prepare quarterly BAS statements for review and lodgementOrder office and site supplies, stationery,



and equipment online as neededAnswer and direct incoming calls and general email enquiriesMaintain organised, up-to-date digital records and systemsAbout youAccounting administration, bookkeeping, or accounts-focused office experience, ideally with formal study or a qualification in accounting/bookkeeping (e.g. Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting)Demonstrated hands‐on experience using Xero for invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliationProven experience managing accounts receivable and payable, including debtor follow‐up and supplier payment processingExperience reconciling bank statements and compiling/preparing BAS statements and other compliance reportingExperience processing payroll for a small team, including STP, superannuation, and leave entitlementsMinimum 2–3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounts administration roleProven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential financial information appropriatelyPrior experience in the residential building or construction industry (desirable)Familiarity with domestic building contracts and progress claim structures (desirable)About usAgile Designer Homes is part of Agile Project Group Pty Ltd, a high-end building company committed to transparency and accuracy in project delivery and financial management.
