About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SMSF Accountant to join the team at Smith McCarthy Wilson, a leading accounting and advisory firm located in Warragul, VIC.Our ideal candidate can be accepted to either a Part-Time or Full-Time position, and we are also versatile in regards to when the candidate will begin (any time from immediate to early in the New Year).
As our in-house Specialist SMSF Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial and compliance services to our growing portfolio of over 200 self‐managed superannuation fund (SMSF) clients.What you'll be doingPreparing and lodging SMSF annual tax returns and financial statementsAssisting with SMSF compliance, investment strategies and estate planningAssisting clients with SMSF establishment, wind‐ups, and rolloversLiaising with SMSF Auditors throughout the SMSF Audit processWhat we're looking forExperience in SMSF accountingComprehensive knowledge of SMSF legislation, regulations and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with systems such as BGL Simple Fund 360 (preferred),
