This is a genuine opportunity to develop technically, gain exposure to complex client work, and start mentoring the next generation of accountants, all within a firm that's investing seriously in your growth.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work and responsive service across a broad portfolio of clientsWork collaboratively with Managers and Partners across client engagements and advisory mattersSupport the delivery of tax advice across areas including corporate tax, capital gains tax,
Division 7A and trust taxationGain exposure to complex client matters and the full lifecycle of client engagementsTechnical & CommercialPrepare income tax returns, reconciliations and activity statements for a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individualsAssist in the preparation of financial statements and related compliance obligationsEnsure technical accuracy and adherence to relevant standards and legislation in all deliverablesDevelopmentContribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environmentTake on increasing responsibility for reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members as experience developsActively participate in structured professional development and mentoring from senior leadersAbout YouCA studies commenced, or planning to commence (or equivalent professional qualification)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineExperience preparing tax compliance work for a range of entity typesExposure to business and high-net-worth client groupsA sound understanding of key taxation concepts including corporate tax, CGT, Division 7A and trust taxationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamA genuine commitment to ongoing professional developmentWhy Horizon Nexus Partners?
