Job Description
About The Role: Build your long-term career in the engineering industry while completing a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Heavy Fabrication Stream). You'll receive hands‐on training from experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills in welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding and metalwork within a professional workshop environment.

Duties May Include
n

Examining and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
n
Welding components using a variety of welding techniques
n
Fabricating and assembling metal products and structures
n
Cutting, grinding and shaping metal materials
n
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
n
Operating welding equipment and fabrication machinery
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
Assisting qualified tradespeople with fabrication projects
n
n
Location: Mooroopna, VIC
n
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

About You
n
n
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia
n
Completion of Year 10 High School
n
Genuine interest in welding, fabrication and engineering
n
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
n
Positive attention to detail and practical problem‐solving skills
n
Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
n
Reliable, punctual and committed to completing a four‐year apprenticeship
n
