About the Opportunity

We're looking for an Asset Administrator to join our Fleet team, supporting the procurement, logistics and administrative functions that keep our fleet and workshop operations running smoothly.
n
Reporting to the Asset Manager, you'll coordinate parts, consumables, freight and maintenance administration to help maximise equipment availability across our project sites, while delivering cost-effective procurement outcomes.
n
This is a full-time position based at our Workshop in Orange.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
In this role you'll:
n
n
Source and procure quality parts, consumables and workshop materials at competitive commercial rates.
n
Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation logistics for fleet assets travelling to and from client sites.
n
Manage freight providers and logistics schedules to ensure equipment and materials are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
n
Monitor maintenance trackers and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules.
n
Maintain accurate maintenance administration, including job cards, service sheets and service records.
n
Raise, administer and monitor departmental purchase orders in line with AWCON's purchasing procedures.
n
Manage workshop inventory and spare parts holdings, including stock ordering, rotation and stocktakes.
n
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and volume discounts.
n
Coordinate workshop facility maintenance and contractor attendance to keep operations compliant.
n

About You
n
You'll be organised, commercially minded and comfortable juggling procurement, logistics,
and administration priorities in a busy workshop environment.
n
Ideally you'll have:
n
n
Experience in procurement, logistics, or fleet/maintenance administration.
n
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
n
High level computer literacy, including ERP or maintenance management systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
n
Current Construction Induction (White Card) and First Aid Certificate.
n
A current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum Class C).
n

Desirable (but not essential):
n
n
Cert III in Mechanical or Logistics/Supply Chain.
n
Knowledge of inventory management principles and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
n
