Casual Relief Pool
offering a
competitive daily rate.
Applications are invited from teachers who are
reliable, enthusiastic and flexible
and would be committed to adopting our
Walker Learning pedagogy
(a play-based and inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning). It is the basis of the school's ethos that the
Islamic nature of the school takes precedence over all other considerations.
Final year pre-service Teachers are also encouraged to apply for our Casual Relief Pool.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To Join Our Casual Relief Pool, You Must
Be currently living in Perth, Western Australia
Be eligible to work in Australia
Have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Registered with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)
Teach competently using English as the medium of instruction
Have a good general working knowledge of Islam and its implementation
For Pre-service Teachers, You Must Also
Be in the final year of your education degree (Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching) at an Australian university
Show proof of completed qualified experiences
Fill in the application for limited registration found on the TRBWA website and attach it to your application.
NOTE TO PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS:
Once the TRBWA grants your limited registration and you are successful in your application, you will have the opportunity to be added to our Casual Relief Pool.
