About the role
n
Grenfell MPS are seeking applications from enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Assistants in Nursing (AINS) to join our supportive and inclusive Nursing workforce.
n
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) position at Grenfell Multipurpose Health Service (MPS) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to both our acute patients and the residents who call our facility home. We're looking for a dynamic, motivated individual with a solid foundation in acute care and aged care, and a passion for making a meaningful difference every day.

Grenfell MPS is truly a wonderful place to work — a warm, supportive rural health service where teamwork, respect, and best-practice care are at the core of everything we do. We have 7 inpatient beds, 34 Residential aged care beds & 1 Emergency Department bed.

As an AIN, you will have the opportunity to:

This is a shift-work position, covering mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays. We offer supportive rostering to enhance the work/life balance. Shifts are supported by a team including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing. The broader team also includes a full-time Nurse Manager,
an Education Officer who attends one day per week, hotel services staff, medical staff, and access to allied health professionals both virtually & on site.

AINs are allocated a dedicated wing of patients or residents, allowing you to deliver consistent, holistic care.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Providing high-quality patient and resident care
n
Assisting with showering, meals, and toileting
n
Supporting wound care
n
n
To be successful in this role you will hold Certificate III (HLT***** Or HLT*****) in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care or Aged Care); or be currently enrolled as a Nursing Student (with successful completion of at least two semesters & your first clinical placement) along with a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
