Hazik Coatings are currently looking for an 1st or 2nd year apprentice painter to join the team.

Working with qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

The successful candidate must be will to travel as we work all over Melbourne & Geelong area, be trustworthy and reliable, have genuine desire to have a career in the painting industry

Duties will involve:
n

Carry out measurements and calculations.
n
Read and interpret plans and specifications.
n
Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
n
Handle painting and decorating materials.
n
Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
n
Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
n
Prepare surfaces for painting.
n
Apply paint by brush and roller.
n
Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
n

Be trustworthy

Preferred but not essential:
n
Driver's licence and vehicle.
n
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
