Job Description
Permanent Full Time - 76 hours per fortnight

The Team & Role
Join Bayside Health's Family Violence Program within The Orange Door, a collaborative, multidisciplinary service dedicated to improving the safety and wellbeing of women, children, families, and adults who use violence. Based primarily at the Hastings Orange Door site, you will play a key role in providing intake, assessment, risk management, and referrals for high-risk family violence cases. Working alongside specialist practitioners and community partners, you will help deliver coordinated,
person-centred support that promotes safety, accountability, and positive outcomes for our community.
Skills & Experience Required
Highly developed interpersonal skills. This should include excellent written and verbal communications skills and proficient skills in collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Current member or eligible for AASW membership (Social Worker) orRelevant qualification in Social Sciences or related fields (Community Development Worker).
Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209)
Experience in related Family Violence, child wellbeing or family services sectors
Demonstrable risk management and safety planning skills and a familiarity with MARAM.
Demonstrated well developed organisational and administrative skills, including ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities.
