Meredith Respiratory & Sleep Centres – Bankstown NSWRespiratory Lab Technician/Scientist, Casual, BankstownMeredith Respiratory and Sleep Centre in Bankstown, a leading respiratory and sleep centre is in need of a Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist.The Role includes, but is not limited to:Collection of patient medical information and historyPerformance of various respiratory tests including lung function, spirometry, asthma and allergy testsAccurate recording of resultsPrepare and monitor patients during testingLiaise with clinic Doctors and other staffOperate and maintain respiratory equipment in accordance with established guidelinesKeeping up to date with improvements in procedures and changes in government requirementsAssist with administrative tasks including booking of patients,



monitoring supply of consumables and assisting reception with front desk dutiesRequired:Qualification or current enrolment in medical science or medical related degree essentialExperience in conducting respiratory and related tests preferred but not essentialMust be sufficiently confident to be able to work aloneEnjoy dealing with the general publicWillingness to work at other locations if requiredWillingness to assist with administration and front desk functionsRemuneration:******* Hours per week, Monday to Fridays.On the job training providedAvailability of experienced IT personnel, administration assistants, practice manager and experienced medical specialistsUp to date medical equipment and softwareModern, clean work setting close to shops and railway station
