We are a small, established accounting firm based in Berwick and we're looking for an experienced accountant who knows their way around Australian tax and financial statements, enjoys getting work completed, and wants flexibility.The RoleYou'll primarily assist with the preparation and completion of:Financial statements for companies and trustsIncome tax returns for companies, trusts and individualsTax compliance work across a range of small business clientsOther business services and taxation work depending on your experienceThis is a hands-on role, and you'll be expected to manage your workflow and meet agreed KPIs around taxable group completions.Who We're Looking ForThe key requirement is recent Australian public practice experience.You'll need to have worked in an Australian public practice accounting firm within the last five years and be comfortable preparing financial statements and income tax returns with a reasonable level of independence.You'll also be:Accurate and efficientComfortable managing deadlines and workflowAble to communicate well with clients and the rest of our teamAccountable for getting work through to completionComfortable working with up-to-date accounting and tax softwareSomeone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly teamCA/CPA qualifications are welcome.The FlexibilityThis is where we can be flexible.We're open to discussing the number of days and hours with the right person.
