Sales Specialist (Peripheral Vascular) - QueenslandResponsible for achieving an agreed revenue target or sales quota by identifying and gaining business from current and existing clients, understanding customers and their needs, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction with Terumo.
This role covers Peripheral Vascular portfolio of product.Key responsibilitiesUnderstand new customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote the organisation as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving "preferred" supplier statusNegotiate price and volume discounts (where applicable) in accordance with the organisation's policies and liaise with Technical Support staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued businessCoordinate, conduct and participate in Sales promotions, campaigns, events and displaysIdentify and gain new business through a sustained program of cold calling, mailing, and appointments, securing angio lab time /theatre time and following up referrals/leads and keeping abreast of competitor's Sales strategiesWork closely with existing clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisationMaintain call rates to assure contact with assigned clients and act as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all timesCoordinate the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids,
contracts and Account Management plansConduct product demonstrations (where applicable) and provide clinical training and supportManage stock requirements and pre case coordination with customers in order to ensure optimal patient outcomesRespond to requests from the Customer Service and Business Support teams, assisting with timely delivery and quality of support solutions daily to customersAbout youExtensive proven sales track record with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital sales environmentPeripheral Vascular portfolio experience is highly preferredIntermediate to Advanced MS Office skills with exposure to CRM systems, ideally SalesforceFull Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictionsA tertiary qualification with additional Clinical or Business degree/diploma is highly desirableUnderstands and is able to define medical device features/benefits appropriate to all business unit/speciality areasUnderstands own market and customer needs within speciality areaDevelops detailed sales/marketing plans, accurately forecasts sales and creates effective call plansCompile information and manage communication across various customer touch points to ensure a consistent and pleasant experienceAbout usAs a global medical device company originating from Japan, we pursue reliable quality and technology to contribute to healthcare in more than 160 countries and regions around the globe.
