You'll see the impact of your care, learn from leading specialists, and develop skills you can't get anywhere else.Where You'll WorkAs part of the Casual Nurse Bank (and depending on your skills), you'll rotate through highly specialised areas, including:Inpatient Haematology, Medical and Surgical OncologyShort Stay UnitEnhanced Care Unit (ECU) - caring for patients with complex needs, including advanced monitoring,



symptom management and therapies such as inotropic supportChemotherapy Day Unit (CDU)RadiotherapyCancer Imaging and Outpatient ClinicsWhether your focus is inpatient or ambulatory care, this role offers diverse exposure and opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills in oncology nursing.What You'll BringCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum 3 years' experience in acute inpatient or ambulatory careConfidence in clinical assessment, organisation and decision‐makingExperience caring for complex or acutely unwell patientsChemotherapy skills and ambulatory oncology experience highly regardedCompetence with electronic medical records and digital clinical systemsCommitment to safe, evidence-based, patient‐centred careUp‐to‐date immunisation statusOncology, haematology or surgical nursing experienceChemotherapy certification or infusion/ambulatory experiencePostgraduate qualifications in Oncology or related specialtyExperience in high acuity or enhanced care environmentsAbout YouYou are compassionate, adaptable and confident.

At Peter Mac, you'll work alongside passionate colleagues, learn from experts, and help shape the future of cancer care.Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' post‐graduate experience (Grade 2 Year 4 or above).
