With no ceiling workAbout the RoleAs a Field Service Electrician/Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring residential properties comply with current smoke alarm legislation through high-quality installation, servicing, and maintenance.You'll work across a variety of homes, liaising with tenants, property owners, and real estate agents, delivering skilled service while managing your day efficiently and safely.You'll also be trained to deliver additional compliance services,
making this a varied and interesting role beyond standard electrical work.This role can be four days per week if you prefer.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent customer service when dealing with property managers, tenants, residents, and private ownersInstall, service, and troubleshoot smoke alarms in line with manufacturer instructions, legislation, and best practiceMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Queensland smoke alarm legislation (and NSW where applicable)Review and clarify work orders with the office team prior to attending jobsAccurately record all work via the SAI tech portal, including photos and site detailsComply with all Queensland electrical safety regulations and internal safety policiesManage time effectively while maintaining quality and compliance standardsAbout YouYou'll likely have:A current QLD Electrical LicenceA strong commitment to safety and complianceExcellent communication and customer service skillsGood time management and attention to detailConfidence working independently in the fieldBasic tech skills for using mobile job management systemsA professional, reliable, and respectful approach when working in people's homesWhy Join Us?
