KFI Toowoomba is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Interpreter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Based in Toowoomba, QLD, this role is essential to our operations, bridging the gap between customers, technicians, and suppliers by accurately identifying, sourcing, and interpreting vehicle parts and components.
As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the correct parts first time, minimising delays and maintaining customer satisfaction.
This position is integral to the smooth functioning of our automotive business and directly impacts our reputation for excellence in the industry.Key responsibilitiesAccurately identify and interpret vehicle parts and components using technical manuals, catalogues, and digital systemsCommunicate with customers to understand their parts requirements and clarify specificationsLiaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source appropriate parts and componentsMaintain detailed records of parts requests, orders, and inventoryUse computer systems and parts management software to locate, track, and process parts ordersVerify part numbers and specifications to ensure accuracy before ordering or dispatchRespond promptly to customer enquiries regarding parts availability and lead timesBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal technical teamsSupport the workshop team by ensuring timely availability of required parts and componentsAssist with stock management and monitor inventory levels for commonly used partsWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor, or in a similar automotive parts roleStrong knowledge of vehicle parts, components,
