Wongaburra is seeking a warm, professional and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, families, contractors and other stakeholders at our residential care site.This is a key front-of-house and administrative support role that helps create a positive first impression of our organisation while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
You will address all incoming phone calls, coordinate site access and security protocols as required, deliver excellent customer service, and provide reliable administrative support to the Clinical Care Coordinator, Charge Nurses and the wider residential care team.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome visitors, families, residents and contractors in a friendly, professional mannerAnswer the main reception line, direct calls and take accurate messagesManage visitor sign-in/out processes, site access and security monitoring (including CCTV)Schedule and coordinate appointments, manage calendars and assist with transport arrangementsProvide information and practical assistance to residents, families and visitorsMaintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception areaHandle mail and deliveries, maintain stationery supplies and support meeting preparationProvide administrative support to the Clinical Care Coordinator and Charge Nurses (document preparation, filing, archiving, posters/flyers,
records management, etc.)Assist with minor IT/phone troubleshooting and contractor coordinationUphold confidentiality, facility policies and Work Health & Safety requirements at all timesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a reception, front-of-house or administrative support role (highly desirable)Experience in aged care, healthcare or a similar regulated environment (advantageous)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systemsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills – you will be the face of WongaburraClear, professional verbal and written communicationStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multi-taskCalm, composed approach when handling busy or difficult situationsHigh level of discretion and confidentialityCurrent police check (or ability to obtain one) in accordance with Wongaburra policyWhy Join Wongaburra?
