My client is a property development and investment group focused on sustainable growth, strategic investment and operational excellence, the business continues to expand its portfolio while delivering long-term value for partners and communities.
Reporting into the Finance Manager this role will take part in broad accounting tasks across the group's corporate entities as well as take part in managing financials and delivery of analysis on it's development projects, with the prospect to part with development managers;
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger, including property settlements across multiple entities
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies




Assist with the accounting and reporting of Work-in-Progress (WIP), project accruals, and project cost allocations
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and other regulatory returns
Provide financial reporting and analysis to support Project Managers and the Finance team
Review and ensure timely Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
We are seeking an astute, qualified (or part qualified) CA/CPA with experience from the property, development or construction sector.
Ideally you will have experience in tax compliance - however this is not essential
