Industrial Sewing Machinists - Campbellfield
$40 per hour | Monday to Friday | Morning Shift | Ongoing Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Sewing Machinists to join our client's manufacturing team based in Campbellfield, Melbourne.
About Our Client
Our client is an established large-format digital printing and visual communications manufacturer, specialising in producing high-quality printed and display products for commercial clients across Australia.
Their capabilities include large-format printing up to 5 metres wide, producing products such as banners, flags, exhibition graphics and other promotional displays.
They also manufacture custom fabric display systems, lightboxes and rigid printed panels for a variety of commercial applications.
About the Role
As an Industrial Sewing Machinist, you will play an important role in the production of fabric-based printed products and display solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating twin needle sewing machines
Sewing and finishing large-format printed fabric materials
Producing flags, banners and other fabric-based display products
Following production specifications and quality requirements
Inspecting finished products to ensure a high standard of workmanship
Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
About You
Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist
Proven experience operating a twin needle sewing machine - essential
Experience working with large-format fabrics, banners, flags, textiles or display products will be highly regarded
Experience in a similar printing, signage, textile or display manufacturing environment is preferred
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Good hand-eye coordination and sewing skills
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Ability to work Monday to Friday on morning shifts
