Stores & Supply OfficerSt Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital is seeking a reliable and organised Stores & Supply Officer to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an important role supporting the day-to-day operation of the hospital by ensuring medical, clinical and general supplies are received, stored and distributed efficiently.Working as part of our hospital support services team, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient stores and supply function across the hospital.Key responsibilities include:Receiving, checking and appropriately storing deliveriesPicking and distributing stock and supplies to hospital departmentsMaintaining accurate inventory records and stock levelsMonitoring stock usage and identifying replenishment requirementsConducting regular stocktakes and inventory checksEnsuring stock is stored safely and in accordance with hospital requirementsProcessing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers as requiredMaintaining a clean, organised and productive stores areaSupporting the hospital team with ad-hoc stores and supply requirementsFollowing relevant workplace health and safety, infection control and hospital proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in providing a high level of service to internal customers.You will ideally have:Previous experience in stores, warehousing,



inventory or supply chain operationsExcellent organisational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood computer and administrative skillsThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamGood communication and customer service skillsA proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever requiredThe ability to safely undertake manual handling and physical aspects of the rolePrevious experience in a healthcare or hospital environment will be highly regarded, but is not essentialWhat's in it for You?
