This role will see you managing a very busy front desk reception and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly professional manner.Key responsibilitiesReception, welcoming and processing patientsScheduling and managing patient appointmentsManaging telephone enquiriesPreparation and distribution of medical correspondence to referring medical providersPreparation of patient files and assistance with preparation of consultants' clinicsHandling of cash, credit cards, Eftpos including settlement at the end of each dayManagement of all patient data and correspondenceManaging of private billings, Medicare & DVA claimsProcessing incoming and outgoing mail and emailsAbout youExperience working in a medical backgroundPrior knowledge with Genie would be an advantageA skilled,



patient and courteous mannerExcellent articulation and telephone mannerHigh level of personal presentation and professionalismStrong multitasking capabilitiesStrong customer service skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environmentShow initiative and work productively within a team environmentThe ability to liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals and fellow staff in a calm and professional mannerFlexibility in time and task performanceA friendly and enthusiastic attitudePositive attitude towards work and maintain a good work ethicThe ideal applicant needs to have valuable interpersonal skills, pay robust attention to detail and have the ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.Applicants who have been shortlisted will be contacted to arrange an interview.
