An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a global organisation operating a highly automated, technology-driven facility in Truganina.
n
Working as part of the onsite maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping sophisticated plant and automated equipment operating safely and efficiently.
n
This is a hands-on position combining planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response in a modern operational environment.
n
The Role Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Carrying out planned, preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance
n
Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing mechanical breakdowns
n
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
n
Maintaining and optimising plant and automated equipment
n
Working closely with operations to identify and resolve equipment issues
n
Completing maintenance records and reporting
n
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone with:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Fitter & Turner or equivalent
n
Solid mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience
n
Experience working with plant, machinery or automated equipment
n
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Strong safety awareness
n
Good computer skills and ability to maintain maintenance records
n
Current driver's licence
n
Working at Heights / rescue certification highly regarded
n
n
A Fitter & Turner or equivalent qualification,
mechanical/electrical
aptitude and Working at Heights/rescue are specifically identified in the position description.
n
Experience within manufacturing, food production, logistics, warehousing or another automated environment would be highly regarded.
