Ampcontrol are seeking a proactive, forward thinking Electrical Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
n
What You Will Do
n
Due to Ampcontrol's continued success and growth, we are expanding our team therefore seeking a proactive Electrical Project Coordinator who thrives off being organised and has pronounced planning, scheduling, and estimating skills!
n
Based in Mackay, this role is a full-time prospect reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager playing a key role within our Project Delivery Team.
n
You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all technical and project related activities, specifically:
n
n
Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgear
n
Review customer project scope and estimating
n
Scheduling
n
Coordinate project documentation
n
Procurement of estimated materials
n
Subcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturing
n
Monitor and control project costs
n
Liaise with customers/clients and external companies as required
n
Customer updates and reporting
n
Coordinate,



attend and when required chair project kick off or progress review meetings
n
Understanding of design process
n
Establish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and continued forward forecast of repeat work
n
Commitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user
n

What are we looking for from you?

Project / contract management experience
n
Sound computer skills
n
Competent in MS Office applications including Microsoft Project
n
Diploma in Project Management (desirable)
n
Electrical Trade Certificate (desirable)
n
General estimating proficiency (desirable)
n
Strong communication and negotiation skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Team orientated and focused
n
Energetic and positive attitude to problem solving
n
