Hours: Full time (38 hours per week) early starts

Reports to: Operations Manager

Works with: Parts Manager, General Manager

Contract position: Permanent Full - Time with an initial 3-month review

About the Role

Delivery Fleet Maintenance (DFM) is a specialised service centre and on-site mechanical service provider, delivering comprehensive maintenance solutions for delivery fleets of two- and three-wheeled motorcycles and electric vehicles. Operating across Victoria, DFM is a preferred service provider to a major national postal and delivery organisation, keeping fleet vehicles safe, compliant, reliable and on the road.

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Motorcycle / Automotive / EV Technician to join our Victorian team. This hands‐on, varied role covers servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a broad range of motorcycles and electric vehicles, along with installing and troubleshooting telematics systems. It's a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and takes pride in quality workmanship and great customer service.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Performing routine servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs across a range of petrol and electric two- and three-wheeled vehicles
n
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
n
Carrying out safety inspections
n
Installing accessories, components, parts and fleet equipment
n
Diagnosing and resolving issues with vehicle electrical systems and onboard fleet technology
n
Maintaining accurate service records, job cards and repair documentation
n
Liaising professionally with customers on vehicle condition, repairs and servicing
n
Following WHS procedures and keeping a safe, clean, organised workshop
n
Collaborating with the DFM team to get vehicles back on the road efficiently
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Qualified Motorcycle, Automotive or EV Technician preferred, candidates with relevant experience will also be considered, with training provided
n
Solid diagnostic, mechanical and problem‐solving skills
n
Sound mechanical knowledge and a willingness to build EV and electrical diagnostic skills
n
Current motorcycle licence preferred
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early starts
n
A positive, can‐do attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies
n
