Support the Secure Delivery of a Education Project /n
We're seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our ACT team on a fixed-term contract through to December, with the potential for extension.
/n
Working on a large education project approaching completion, you'll partner closely with site teams, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained across commissioning, fit-out and external works activities.
/n
This is a hands‑on role for a safety professional who enjoys being out on site, building relationships and driving a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities /n
/n
Coordinate site inductions and onboarding activities
/n
Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations
/n
Review SWMS and monitor subcontractor compliance
/n
Support the implementation of project safety initiatives and procedures
/n
Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
/n
Maintain site safety records and project documentation
/n
Promote and reinforce a solid safety culture across the project
/n
About You /n
/n
3+ years' experience in a HSE Coordinator, Safety Coordinator or similar role
/n
Construction industry experience is essential
/n
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety requirements
/n
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
/n
Ability to influence and engage subcontractors and site teams
/n
Proactive and practical approach to safety
/n
