As a Business Analyst (Manager level) at Avanade, you will lead requirements gathering and analysis workstreams on complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmes.
Based in Auckland, you will work closely with client business stakeholders, functional architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined, scoped and aligned to business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business analysis workstreams on large-scale Dynamics 365 and Microsoft technology programmesFacilitate requirements workshops, interviews and process mapping sessions with client stakeholdersDocument and manage business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteriaAnalyse and model existing 'as-is' business processes and design 'to-be' future state processesCollaborate with solution architects and technical teams to validate that designs meet business requirementsDefine and manage traceability matrices to ensure requirements are tested and deliveredSupport UAT planning, execution and sign-off in collaboration with client teamsManage junior BAs and analysts on the engagement,



providing coaching and quality oversightSupport pre‐sales activities including scope definition and effort estimationSkills & ExperiencesYou are an experienced business analyst with a strong consulting background in enterprise technology programmesYou excel at stakeholder engagement and translating complex business needs into transparent, actionable requirementsYou are comfortable leading analysis workstreams independently and managing junior team membersYou bring excellent written and verbal communication skills and are confident presenting to senior audiencesYou likely have 7+ years of professional experience in business analysis, ideally in a consulting environmentYou have experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise CRM / ERP programmesTechnical skills & experienceStrong knowledge of business analysis techniques including process modelling, use cases and user story writingExperience with Dynamics 365 CE, ERP or Power Platform implementationsFamiliarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologiesProficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Visio or equivalent for requirements managementUnderstanding of data migration and integration considerations in enterprise programmesPreferred certificationsIIBA CBAP or CCBA (preferred)Microsoft PL-900: Power Platform FundamentalsPreferred years of experienceYou likely have around 7–12 years of professional experience in business analysis, with at least 5 years in a consulting or client-facing environment.At Avanade, we advance the world through the power of people and Microsoft.
