Job Description
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing productive and professional customer service to customers, transport operators, and internal stakeholders within a sand plant/quarry environment. The role involves coordinating customer orders, scheduling deliveries, managing enquiries, and ensuring accurate communication between customers, the plant, weighbridge, and transport teams.

Previous experience in a sand plant, quarry, construction materials, or similar industrial environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
n
Manage customer enquiries by phone and email.
n
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
n
Familiarity with plant operations, loading processes, weighbridge procedures, and truck movements.
n
Experience coordinating deliveries and working with transport operators.
n
Maintain accurate records and order information.
n
Assist with resolving customer and delivery issues.
n
Support the wider Customer Service and Sales team.
n
Follow company procedures for safety, accuracy and customer service.
n
Previous experience in a sand plant, quarry, or aggregates business.
n
Knowledge of sand/aggregate products and specifications.
n
Experience with weighbridge or dispatch systems.
n
Experience coordinating truck movements and deliveries.
n
Experience working with construction, civil, landscaping, or building industry customers- not essential but highly desirable.

Current driver's licence.
