About the role
n
We're looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team manufacturing aluminum toolboxes. This hands-on role involves preparing, assembling and welding aluminum components to produce strong, neatly finished toolboxes to our specifications.

What you'll be doing
n
n
MIG and TIG welding aluminium toolboxes and components.
n
Preparing, positioning and clamping aluminium sheets and parts for welding.
n
Reading technical drawings and following measurements and work instructions.
n
Checking weld quality, dimensions, alignment and finish.
n
Maintaining welding equipment and keeping your work area clean and organised.
n
Following protected work practices and working with the team to meet production deadlines.
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding aluminium.
n
Experience manufacturing aluminium toolboxes or similar sheet metal products is highly regarded.
n
Ability to produce consistent, neat welds and manage heat to minimise distortion.
n
Ability to read drawings and accurately assemble components.
n
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
n
A reliable, punctual approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated practical welding experience.
