This role will support the effective commissioning and integration of new and upgraded assets across our WA network.
In this role, you'll ensure that assets are commissioned safely, efficiently and in compliance with corporate standards, enabling successful transition into operational service.

Receive a 12% employer contribution and enjoy an additional 2% employer co-contribution when you elect to salary sacrifice 2%Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leaveAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave of up to 5 days so you can maintain your cultural connection and wellbeing.Annual leave loading – an extra 17.5% pay when you use your annual leaveWhat The Role Will InvolveRepresent the Water Corporation as the principal's commissioning manager in major capital projectsResponsible for ensuring the performance and functional requirements for new assets have been identified, tested safely and results are reported to the asset ownerReview of various design and asset handover documents for the project teamPreparation and review of commissioning plans, procedures, test plans and schedulesSupervision and performance of field test sessionsFunctional review of SCADA & control systemsCoordination of technical teams undertaking commissioning tests,



along with report preparationTravel across Perth metropolitan area and WA for commissioning purposesAbout YouDegree qualification in engineering or a related discipline, AND/OR substantial operational and asset management experience in a capital intensive industryDemonstrated experience in asset commissioning, preferably within water, wastewater or utilities environmentsStrong understanding of commissioning processes, inspection and testing requirementsProven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholdersStrong analytical, organisational and planning skillsAbility to apply initiative and judgement within established guidelines to deliver outcomesCommitment to safety, compliance, equity and ethical conductPlease note: By applying for this role, you are consenting to your current and previous line managers being contacted as references.As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to complete pre-employment screening which commonly includes - but is not limited to - a medical, qualification check, police clearance and Australian working rights check.
