About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Security & Logistics Manager to lead security, operational and logistics functions across a complex, public-facing environment in Parramatta.
n
This is a senior operational role with a strong focus on security leadership, while also overseeing logistics, emergency management, contractors, operational systems and 24/7 operations.
n
You will lead a team of security supervisors and operational staff, work closely with internal stakeholders and service providers, and play an important role in supporting the ongoing development of a major new precinct.
n

Manage security teams, contractors and operational service providers

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead day-to-day security operations, including CCTV, access control, incident management and security governance.
n
Manage emergency preparedness and response, including emergency planning, exercises and Chief Warden responsibilities.
n
Lead and support security supervisors and operational teams, including workforce planning and service delivery.
n
Oversee contracted security and logistics providers, including performance, compliance and contract management.
n
Manage loading dock, fleet, contractor access and material movement operations.
n
Oversee security and operational technology systems, including CCTV, access control and logistics platforms.
n
Develop and maintain security, emergency management, risk and operational procedures.
n




Manage budgets, reporting, compliance and operational performance.
n
Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to deliver a safe, secure and positive customer experience.
n

About You
n
We are looking for an experienced security leader who is confident managing people, contractors and complex operations.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
5–10+ years' experience leading security operations in a complex environment.
n
Experience managing 24/7 or multi-site operations.
n
Strong experience in security operations, emergency management and incident response.
n
Experience managing security contracts, guarding services and external providers.
n
Robust knowledge of CCTV, access control and security technology.
n
Experience managing teams and operational workforces.
n
Strong stakeholder management, communication and customer service skills.
n
Experience with logistics, loading dock, fleet or facilities operations will be highly regarded.
n
Background in environments such as government, hospitals, universities, airports, stadiums, cultural institutions, major venues or large commercial precincts will be advantageous.
n

Mandatory Requirements

You must hold all three of the following current NSW Security Licences:
n
n
Class 1A
n
Class 1C
n
Class 1E
n
n
Candidates who do not hold all three licences will not be considered.
