including purchase and sale of businessesDrafting correspondence, organising and maintaining matter filesBasic legal research, document management, and administrative tasksStay informed about industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in property and commercial law.
Qualifications
Whilst a law degree is beneficial, a paralegal qualification, with a robust interest in property and conveyancing will also be considered favourableFoundational knowledge of property law, contract law, and the conveyancing process in NSW, or a willingness to learn these areas quickly.Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clientsStrong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailSolid organisational and time management skillsProficiency with standard office software and document management toolsExperience with legal practice management and systems including PEXAAbility to work collaboratively in a small team environmentPrior exposure to a law firm or legal office (through internships, clerkships, or similar experience) is desirable but not mandatoryAbility to speak an Indian language an advantage but not essential
