This is an exciting time for us as this role is an extension to support the continued growth and reach of the business.In this position you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with challenging behaviours, helping them to develop coping strategies and improve their quality of life.
The role requires a compassionate and patient individual who is resilient and able to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to identify the root cause of challenging behavioursDevelop individualised behaviour support plans (BSP), aiming to support and reduce the occurrence of behaviours of concernAssisting families and other support persons to implement BSPsProvide education and other supports to participants, their families, and caregivers on behaviour management techniquesMonitor participant progress and adjust BSPs as necessaryMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and interventions required to assess and adjust BSPs accordingly,
