Profectus is seeking an experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to support the development, implementation and ongoing operation of an enterprise MDM platform within an Australian Government agency.
The platform runs on Microsoft Azure and provides consistent, governed master data to business and technology teams across the agency.
The work covers MDM configuration, integration development, data quality and matching rules, stewardship workflows and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure and support an enterprise MDM platformDesign and maintain integrations between the MDM platform, enterprise applications and data platforms using APIs, Azure services and ETL/ELT toolsImplement data quality, validation, matching, survivorship and stewardship processesWork with architects, engineers, business analysts and data stewards to turn business requirements into secure, supportable solutionsTake assigned work through analysis, development, testing, deployment and operational supportInvestigate and resolve platform, integration and data issues across development, test and production environmentsContribute to engineering standards, DevOps practices and deployment automationMonitor and improve platform reliability, security and performanceProduce and maintain technical, operational and support documentationProvide technical guidance and mentoring to team membersIdentify and report risks, issues and dependencies relating to MDM and data integration workRequired ExperienceDemonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions, ideally using ProfiseeStrong understanding of MDM principles, including master and reference data,



data governance, stewardship, data quality, matching and survivorship, and hierarchy managementExperience designing data integration solutions using APIs, ETL/ELT processes and up-to-date integration toolsStrong experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Functions and Logic AppsExperience with relational databases and SQL in enterprise environmentsProven experience delivering complex data solutions in Agile or DevOps teamsExperience developing, testing, deploying and supporting production enterprise applications and data platformsStrong understanding of data modelling, data quality and metadata managementDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable fixesExperience implementing MDM in Azure and/or Microsoft FabricExperience within government, regulated industries or large enterprisesExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platformsRelevant certifications in Azure architecture or engineering, data or enterprise architecture, or Profisee MDMSecurity Clearance RequirementsMust be an Australian CitizenMust hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security ClearanceMust have the ability to obtain an AGSVA NV1 Security ClearanceWorking ArrangementsHybridCanberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or HobartWhy ProfectusProfectus partners with Australian Government agencies to deliver trusted ICT capability across complex delivery programs.
