We are seeking an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of motor vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
n
Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults in motor vehicles. Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance. Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension and steering repairs.
n
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment. Replace and repair worn or damaged mechanical components. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
n
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they are operating safely and correctly. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and servicing. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.



Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Experience
n
Relevant experience of 1 year as a Motor Mechanic. Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and components. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults accurately.
n
Experience using vehicle diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Qualifications
n
A relevant automotive qualification such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent is desirable.
