About the Role
n
Vision Surveys is seeking a full time Construction Surveyor to join our team. This role operates on a drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off, travelling to Gladstone from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services across construction and civil projects while enjoying the flexibility of a structured roster.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
n




Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
n
Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
n
Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, legislation and safety requirements
n
Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
n
Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
n
Report to and communicate with the Survey Manager
n

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
n
n
Proficient with Leica OR Trimble surveying equipment
n
Experience using surveying software including 12d, Magnet and AutoCAD advantageous
n
Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
n
Proven experience working as a Surveyor or in a similar surveying role
n
Understanding of land surveying standards, processes and regulatory frameworks
n
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
n
Strong communication and organisational capabilities
n
Current open driver's licence
n
