Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking compassionate and dedicated Assistant in Nursing professionals to join our team on a casual basis.

What you'll be doing
In this hands-on role, you will support the delivery of secure, effective, and compassionate care across the unit by:
Providing delegated nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Assisting patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect
Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition in a timely and accurate manner
Supporting patient comfort, safety, and wellbeing across physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs
Contributing to nursing assessments and the evaluation of patient care outcomes
Acting as a patient advocate and supporting families with sensitivity and professionalism
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Adhering to professional, legal, ethical, and organisational standards of practice
About you
You are a caring and reliable healthcare qualified who is committed to delivering high-quality care and living Mater's values.
You will bring:
Certificate III in an appropriate healthcare field (essential)




Previous experience in a similar Assistant in Nursing role (desirable)
Sound clinical knowledge within the scope of Assistant in Nursing practice
Strong communication and time-management skills
A patient-focused, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach
Commitment to quality improvement, safety, and risk management
A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
