CatholicCare is seeking compassionate and experienced Community Support Workers to support older people living independently in their own homes across the Central Coast.
n
With daytime shifts available Monday to Friday, you'll build meaningful one-on-one relationships with clients while enjoying flexible work that fits around your lifestyle.

About the Role
n
As a Community Support Worker, you'll help older Australians maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their community while remaining in the comfort of their own home.
n
This is a casual position with services currently operating between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
n
While shifts initially average around 2 hours per client visit, there is strong opportunity for hours to grow as our Home Care program continues to expand across the Hornsby and surrounding suburbs.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Personal care and grooming assistance
n
Meal preparation and light household tasks
n
Social support and companionship
n
Transport to appointments and community activities
n
Supporting clients to achieve their goals and maintain independence
n
Building trusted relationships with clients and their families
n
n
About You
n
n
Experience supporting seniors in a Home Care or Community Aged Care setting
n
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (highly regarded)
n
Current First Aid and CPR
n
NSW Driver Licence and Comprehensive insured vehicle
n
A genuine passion for supporting older people
