We are delighted to be looking for a Practice Nurse to join us at myCheck Health Medical & Skin clinic to provide high quality nursing and support service to our patients. We are a GP practice located in Woy Woy NSW operating 5 days a week. Our clinical team currently consists of 8 full-time general practitioners and a registered nurse.

Position: Full-time, Permanent Part-Time or Casual
n
Rate: Paid per the Nurses Award dependent on level of experience.
n
Experience: Experience in GP is preferable, but on job training will be provided for the right candidate.
n
Must have a current unconditional registration with APHRA
n
Current immunisations certificate (or willing to complete training)
n
Current CPR certificate
n
Current working with children's check (WWC)
n
Minimum 1 years' experience as a registered nurse, enrolled nurse.
n
Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills.
n
Deliver services in a confidential, caring and supportive manner.
n
Have experience in a fast-paced multiple practitioner setting.
n
The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
n
Responsibilities:

Demonstrate comprehensive and accurate knowledge in practice nurse.
n
Sound process thinking and Multi-tasking abilities within a busy environment.
n
Collect and reports information about health.
n
Triage of patients.
n
Chronic disease management plans and health assessments.
n
Stock control and ordering.
n
Cold chain management.
n
Testing procedures – ECG and Spirometry.
n
Wound management and Dressing.
n
Immunisations including childhood and Administer vaccinations
n
Assisting with minor procedures.
n
Maintenance of practice equipment and Equipment sterilization.
n
Support to general practitioners and other staff as required.
n
Infection Control and surgical equipment sterilization
n
Collaborate with the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
n
Offer health education and support to patients and their families.
n
Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
n
Performs administrative related to nursing activities.
n
