With offices strategically located in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East, we are well-positioned to take on projects for clients around the world.About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and reliable Casual Yard & Stores Person to support equipment and asset readiness for our Victorian-based operations.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this position plays a key role in ensuring equipment, PPE and project materials are prepared, mobilised and delivered safely and efficiently.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, managing deliveries, supporting warehouse and stores teams,
and overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment to and from offshore platforms.
This is a hands‐on role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.This opportunity is offered on a casual basis and would suit someone who enjoys a varied role, working both independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced project environment.Duties will include but are not limited toManaging purchasing requirements and raising purchase orders as requiredCoordinating deliveries, freight bookings and supplier interactionsPreparing equipment and consumables for mobilisation to offshore platformsManaging mobilisation and demobilisation of project equipment and materialsReceiving, inspecting and recording incoming deliveriesMaintaining accurate inventory and stock recordsPicking, packing, loading and unloading project equipment and consumablesOperating forklifts and other yard equipment safely and efficientlySupporting warehouse, stores and yard operations as requiredMaintaining housekeeping standards and ensuring a clean,
safe work environmentWorking collaboratively with internal stakeholders and project teams to meet operational requirementsEnsuring all tasks are completed in accordance with HSEQ requirements and company proceduresRequirements & Experience NeededForklift Licence (essential)Construction White Card (essential)Current Australian Driver's Licence – Manual (essential)Previous experience working in a warehouse, stores or yard environmentExperience booking freight and coordinating deliveries (advantageous)Experience raising Purchase Orders and managing purchasing activities (advantageous)Robust commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyStrong organisational skills and attention to detailGood communication and problem-solving skillsStrong reading, writing and computer literacy skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookGeneral housekeeping and yard maintenance experienceFull Australian working rightsEmployee BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a company that values work-life balance, fosters a sociable and collaborative atmosphere, and provides opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
