About the Role
Trojan Rail is seeking safety focused Terminal Operators to join a busy freight terminal at Acacia Ridge.
Previous reach stacker experience is not required.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
We are particularly interested in applicants with forklift operating experience who are ready to learn and develop their skills.
This is a casual role operating across a 24/7 rotating roster.
Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.
What You Will Do
Operate forklifts within the freight terminalUndertake reach stacker trainingOperate reach stackers once trained,
licensed and authorisedLoad and unload containers from rail rolling stockMove and position freight safely within the terminalComplete equipment pre start inspectionsReport equipment faults and defects promptlyComplete operational documentation accuratelyFollow all site, rail safety and workplace proceduresSupport safe and efficient terminal operations
What You Will Need
A current LF High Risk Work LicenceForklift operating experienceA current unrestricted Class C driver licenceA strong commitment to safetyWillingness and ability to complete reach stacker trainingFlexibility to work varied shifts across a 24/7 rotating rosterAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to complete a Category 1 Rail Safety Worker medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, site inductions and other pre employment requirements
Desirable
Experience in rail, freight, transport, warehousing, ports or intermodal operationsExperience working around heavy vehicles or mobile plantA current RS High Risk Work Licence
