We are a small centre (62 places) and offer Childcare, 3-and 4-year-old integrated kindergarten and Tree Kinder.

stimulating and educational environment for all children, educators, family and community.Collaboratively assist with the development, implementation and reflection of the educational program to provide a high-quality, play-based curriculum for all children and familiesBuild and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and childrenImplement inclusive practice and lead an environment which honours diversityEnsure the room environment facilitates relevant regulations, policies and proceduresQualifications & ExperienceDiploma in Children's Services or (ACECQA) approved Australian equivalent or enrolledSound Knowledge of the Early Years Learning FrameworkDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Code of Ethics (Early Childhood Australia Inc.) and always act within these guidelinesA current ACECQA First Aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Accredited Anaphylaxis CertificateValid Working with Children's CheckAccredited Child Protection TrainingExperience in promoting a healthy and cohesive team environment and develop positive channels of communication where educators and staff within your team feel supported and valuedPromote positive, comforting and nurturing relationships with children and view and respect children as competent and capable learnersWe pride ourselves on teaching our children about the natural world and respecting the environment and are looking for a candidate whose educational philosophy is similar.At DSCC, our staff are our greatest asset.
