Absolute Coastal Care PTY LTD – Lithgow NSWAbsolute Coastal Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Disabilty Support Professionals to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly and disabled individuals within the Lithgow, Bathurst, Grenfell and Orange community.
As a Disability Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support services to vulnerable clients, enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
This role is fundamental to our mission of delivering high-quality, person-centred aged and disability support services.Key responsibilitiesProvide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting in a respectful and dignified mannerSupport clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundryAssist with mobility and transferring, using appropriate manual handling techniquesMaintain accurate and timely records of care provided and any changes in client conditionCommunicate effectively with clients, family members and the broader care team to ensure continuity of careRespond compassionately to client needs and concerns, escalating any safeguarding issues appropriatelyMaintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for clientsSupport clients with social and recreational activities to promote wellbeing and engagementComply with all health and safety protocols,



including infection control and manual handling proceduresWork flexibly as part of a casual workforce to meet fluctuating service demandsWhat we're looking forA genuine passion for supporting vulnerable and elderly individuals with compassion and respectPrevious experience in aged care, disability support, healthcare or a similar caring roleStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationshipsPhysical capability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility supportReliability and flexibility to work casual hours as requiredAbility to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all timesProblem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to ongoing career development and learningCurrent Driver's LicenceNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)Working With Children Check (where applicable)Current First Aid & CPRNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleWhat we offerAt Absolute Coastal Care, we're passionate about providing genuine, person-centred support that empowers people to live independently, build confidence, and achieve their goals.We value our Disability Support Professionals and are committed to creating a supportive and rewarding work environment.
