The Community Planner will support the delivery of strategic community outcomes within a progressive regional council.

Working across a diverse portfolio, you will lead community planning initiatives, contribute to strategic projects, and work closely with internal stakeholders, community groups, service providers, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community planning strategies, plans, and policies.
n
Lead community engagement and consultation activities.
n
Analyse demographic, social, and community data to inform decision-making.
n
Coordinate projects that enhance community wellbeing, inclusion, and liveability.
n
Prepare reports, funding applications, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and Council.
n

Experience in community planning, social planning, strategic planning, or community development within local government or the public sector.
