We're looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join Bella Vista Hotel and take ownership of our bar operations and beverage experience. This hands-on leadership role combines team management, beverage operations, stock and cost control, and exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on developing our bar team and delivering consistently outstanding guest experiences.

nAbout the Role n

As the Bar Manager at Bella Vista Hotel, you'll play a key role in leading the beverage program and providing extraordinary experiences.

nYour responsibilities will include: n

n
Set the standard for extraordinary experiences across multiple bars, ensuring every guest leaves wanting more
n
n
Oversee daily bar operations while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and licensing regulations
n
n
Lead, hire and train a dynamic bar team that thrives in a high-energy, high-volume environment
n
n




Collaborate with the Group Beverage Manager to develop inventive cocktail lists that showcase global trends and timeless classics
n
n
Manage all beverage operations, from stock and purchasing to quality and inventory control
n
n
Support back-of-house operations including cellar organisation, maintenance and coordinating cleaning
n
n
Perform financial reconciliations, including cash handling and balancing, to ensure accurate financial records
n
n
Manage and supervise all bar staff, including scheduling, training and performance management
n
n
Monitor and analyse bar performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
n
n
n

nYou bring: n

n
3+ years' experience in venue or bar management within high-volume bars or large-format venues
n
n
Expert cocktail and/or wine knowledge with a knack for creative menu development
n
n
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train and develop a high-performing bar team
n
n
High standards of organisation, a flair for customer interaction and an eye for detail
n
n
Ability to manage budgets, inventory, cost control and financial reconciliations with precision
n
n
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
n
