We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Underwriter to join our Brisbane Financial Lines team and support our growing Financial Lines portfolio.About the role: You will play a key role in managing and growing a Financial Lines portfolio by handling renewals, assessing and converting new business opportunities, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to brokers.
You'll monitor portfolio performance, ensure compliance with underwriting and legislative requirements, stay across industry developments, and actively participate in market engagement and networking activities.Responsibilities Include:Manage and service an existing Financial Lines portfolio, including renewals and mid-term adjustmentsAssess and underwrite new business opportunities in line with authority and guidelinesStrengthen and maintain strong broker relationships through responsive and professional serviceConduct portfolio reviews to monitor performance, profitability, and trendsEnsure compliance with underwriting guidelines, legislative requirements, and internal policiesAttend networking events, broker meetings,
