Training and support will be provided.About the rolesWe are currently recruiting for a range of essential election support positions across the region.
Depending on the role that best matches your skills, experience and availability, you may be:supporting voters and providing customer servicehandling election materials and equipmentcounting votes and processing election informationhelping election offices with administrative tasksSome roles involve several weeks of work before or after election day, while others are focused on election day activities only.
This provides opportunities for people with a range of availability, including those who work full-time.About youYou do not need previous election experience.
We will train you in election processes and systems.We are looking for people who can:communicate clearly and work respectfully with different peoplework accurately and follow procedureshandle information appropriately and pay attention to detailwork effectively as part of a team in a busy environmentDepending on the role, you may work with members of the public, complete administrative tasks, support election operations, assist with vote counting activities, use computer systems or undertake work requiring sustained concentration and attention to detail.
