You'll simplify, standardise, and verify our SHEQ processes to ensure they meet ISO standards, support our workplace safety commitment, and deliver a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
As an individual contributor, you'll work collaboratively across the business to ensure our management systems remain effective and compliant with evolving legislation and regulations.We are accepting applications from candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth.What's on offerOngoing training and development opportunitiesOpportunity to work closely across a range of stakeholdersDevelop expertise in emerging compliance and governance trendsWhat you'll be responsible forDeveloping, improving, and simplifying the Integrated Business Management System (BMS) across all operations, ensuring compliance with ISO ****, ISO *****, and ISO ***** standardsConducting reviews of SHEQ documented processes and leading updates to documentation following legal and regulatory changesManaging document governance to ensure only fit-for-purpose documents are created and available within the BMSCommunicating the impact of legislative, regulatory, and standards changes to relevant teamsSupporting Health, Safety,



and Environmental teams in developing consistent procedures and documented informationConducting internal audits and participating in external certification auditsDeveloping and maintaining Veolia's Always Safe Site Planning ToolsMonitoring compliance recommendations and identifying opportunities for simplification and improvementPreparing and reviewing SHEQ reporting data with stakeholders to drive performance monitoring and improvementProviding tender and contract support as requiredWhat you'll need to be successfulProven experience in a quality or safety management related role with expertise in Integrated Management Systems and certification managementDemonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and reviewing Integrated Business Management Systems and toolsIn-depth understanding of ISO ****, ISO *****, and ISO***** standardsExcellent compliance knowledge and technical skills with strong problem-solving capabilityExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsSolutions-focused and influential approach with ability to drive continuous improvementSelf-motivated with excellent time managementTertiary qualifications in Quality, Safety, Environment, or Risk Management (highly desirable)Why Veolia?
