As a Steel Sales Trainee, you will work alongside experienced sales professionals to develop your understanding of steel products, customer relationships, and the logistics that underpin our business.
This role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of steel sales operations and is a stepping stone to a successful career in manufacturing and logistics.Key responsibilitiesSupporting the sales team in managing customer enquiries and providing quotations for steel productsLearning about steel product specifications, grades and applications to effectively communicate with customersAssisting with order processing, tracking and coordination with production and scheduling teamsBuilding and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers through follow-up calls and emailsGathering market information and competitor intelligence to support sales strategiesParticipating in site visits and customer meetings to understand client needs and industry requirementsContributing to warehouse and logistics coordination to ensure timely product deliveryUndertaking training and development to build product knowledge and sales skillsWhat we're looking forA school leaver or early-career professional with enthusiasm for sales and customer serviceStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clientsNumeracy skills and comfort working with figures,
