This is a hands-on, varied role combining warehouse operations, furniture deliveries and customer service. It would suit an organised all-rounder who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing a job properly and is happy to help wherever needed.

Key responsibilities

Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
n
Completing receiving paperwork accurately
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
Assembling and preparing furniture
n
Delivering furniture to customers' homes
n
Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
Assisting customers with furniture sales
n
Processing payments and handling cash
n
Keeping the warehouse and store organised
n
Supporting other store locations when required
n

About you

Dependable, punctual and well organised
n
Communicates confidently with customers and colleagues

Takes pride in presenting themselves and their work professionally

Can work independently and as part of a team
n
Comfortable performing physical and hands-on duties
n
Willing to learn and take on different responsibilities

MR licence—preferred but not essential
n
Forklift licence—preferred but not essential
