Quick Built Systems is looking for a Machine Operator / Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at our Silverdale factory.
n
We manufacture a range of building products including insulated roofing panels, acoustic fencing and modular kit homes.
n
ABOUT THE ROLE
n
You will work alongside our Lead Hand assisting with the operation of our roll-forming and production machinery while also helping across general factory production.
n
Day-to-day duties include:
n
n
Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery
n
Assisting our Lead Hand with roll-forming and production
n
General factory and manufacturing duties
n
Wrapping and packing completed jobs
n
Preparing orders for dispatch and delivery
n




Assisting with loading jobs onto trucks
n
Keeping the factory and work areas clean and organised
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Mechanically minded and confident working around machinery
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Hands-on and willing to learn
n
Able to work well as part of a team
n
Comfortable with physical factory work
n
Someone who takes pride in their work
n
n
Previous roll-forming or machine operating experience is preferred but not essential
n
A forklift licence is also preferred but not required
n
Training can be provided for the right person who has a valuable attitude and is mechanically minded and willing to learn
