About the Role We are seeking an experienced and confident Room Leader. This leadership role requires someone who can guide a team, deliver a high‐quality kinder program, and model best practice in child safety, curriculum, and compliance.
n
Advertised wage includes workers retention money, the candidate will received approx. annual $4,000 from student placement mentor fee.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead the room and mentor educators in daily practice
n
Develop and deliver a rich, play‐based kindergarten program aligned with the VEYLDF
n
Oversee documentation, planning cycles, and assessments
n
Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the community
n
Ensure compliance with NQS, centre policies, and regulatory requirements
n
Champion Child Safe Standards and ensure all educators maintain professional boundaries
n
Respond appropriately to disclosures, concerns, or risks and follow reporting procedures
n
Promote a positive, collaborative team culture
n
Minimum three years experience

ROOM LEADER – Kindergarten Program - full time

What We're Looking For
n
n
Diploma or Bachelor qualification (ACECQA‐approved)
n
Minimum 2 years Full ECT registration
n
Experience leading a room or kindergarten program
n
Strong understanding of VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQS
n
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
n
Confidence in curriculum planning and documentation
n
Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
n
Demonstrated commitment to Child Safe Standards and ethical leadership
n
Flexible working hours - need to close the centre somestimes
